About Us....
We specialise in the conversion of petrol cars, vans and light commercial vehicles to run on LPG
(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) which will significantly reduce your fuel cost by up to 50%, we also
service and repair car and van LPG systems and vehicle Air Conditioning systems.
South East Autogas have been trading since March 2001 and have completed hundreds of
autogas conversions over the years, and with hundreds of very satisfied customers from all over the UK.
We have a wealth of experience in the installation and maintenance of LPG conversions systems, and can offer our
customers a high quality LPG conversion using the most advanced sequential multipoint injection systems, and high
quality workmanship with superb customer service. All our Autogas conversions are carried out to the highest standards
using the top leading brands of equipment available today.
All our LPG conversions are only installed by qualified LPG technicians who have passed the Liquefied Petroleum Gas
Association code of practice 11: 2001 examination and have also received specialist training from our equipment
suppliers.
We have been fully approved by the LPGA since 2001 (now renamed
UKLPG), and all our LPG conversions are fully certificated with an LPGA
certificate of compliance which almost all insurance company would require after the conversion. On February 2009
we were awarded the
LPGA certificate of excellence for the high standards of our LPG
conversions under their quality assurance inspection program. To receive this award
the LPG conversion will have to be comparable to an OEM installation (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
About the LPGA quality assurance inspection program.
The LPGA / UKLPG operates a system of random inspections of vehicles converted by LPGA Approved Installers. The
Association will select a vehicle to be inspected and arrange for the installer to obtain the agreement of the
customer for the Association to arrange directly with the customer for the inspection at the customer’s convenience.
There is no cost to the customer and the inspections are undertaken at the customers chosen location.
The motives of the inspection program are to maintain high standards and protect the customer from sub
standard converters and to remove their LPGA approval.
